New Board Appointment at TAS
21 July 2006
Specialist public transport consultant The TAS Partnership has announced a further move to strengthen its management team, with the appointment of Andy Foster as an Associate Director with effect from 1 August 2006.
Andy, 42, is currently a Principal Consultant with TAS, whom he joined in 2003 from FirstGroup, where he had been Operations Director with the group’s PMT bus subsidiary. He has some 20 years’ experience in the bus industry, which he joined in 1986. Since joining TAS, Andy has worked on a wide variety of projects, across different passenger transport modes.
Commenting on his appointment, TAS Managing Director Adrian Grant said that the appointment had been made in response to continuing growth in the company’s workload. “Andy’s years of practical, hands-on experience at the sharp end of the bus industry have proved invaluable in consultancy work since he joined us,” he added. “We now want to use his management skills as well, to help drive the next phase of the company’s development.”
