TAS publishes Minibus and Community Bus Report
12 December 2006
Following the recent Transport Select Committee’s inquiry into Bus Services and calls for a review of sections 19 and 22 of the 1985 Transport Act, consultants The TAS Partnership Ltd., have prepared a report on Minibus and Community Bus permits.
TAS has compiled the document from the Traffic Commissioners' Annual Reports, published by the Department for Transport and its predecessors. However, detailed analysis and graphing has been carried out by TAS making this report an invaluable source of data. The report can be downloaded free of charge:

John Taylor, Director for TAS commented “Any reform of section 19 permits would need to start with a review of the available data, which is limited. Our report combines data from a number of sources into a single document that helps to understand both the issues relating to these permits and the numbers involved, by traffic area”.
